COUNTY COURT OR HIGH COURT?

There are times when the County Court process can be inappropriate or just too slow.  This also can depend upon the value of claim, or the speed with which the County Court's own Bailiffs are able to respond.
As a rule, High Court action deals with higher-value claims, backed up by faster bailiff action using
High Court Enforcement Officers.   Evictions are also often speedier when resolved via the High Court.

Enforcement is the ultimate conclusion of the legal process in circumstances where all else has failed, and the High Court relies for much of it's enforcement on professionals, HCEOs and Enforcement Agents, who are officers of the Court acting under direction of the Court, but who are nonetheless independent of the Court Service and are instructed by the judgment creditor.
